1st snowboarding adventure

Man, what a trip... My first time snowboarding, and I gotta say, although the first hour consisted of me sliding my way left and into the orange fence nets, falling into ditches, and cussing my way down the hill, I had a great time. Going down the slopes and looking at the view from all the way up the mountain is a very memorable view I won't forget for a while. Looking forward to doing that again, but with a whole lot more padding after some tough falls on my stomach and ass. Got the hang of it though after a few hours..

The view up top

Look mom, I'm going snowboarding!

NYC, always missed when in Baltimore

Whenever I come back to Baltimore, it just feels as though the life is pretty dead here in this city... Most likely cause I'm spoiled to have lived 30 minutes away from New York City, and be able to commute to NYC any day and at any time. I miss the city life, the excitement of things going on, whether on the street, or some big production thing that can be within a block from where you are. Although it's sometimes a pain in the ass, I miss having to walk through mass crowds down streets or even in the train station. Everyone you see is going somewhere, everyone has a story they're running on...

I took this video on my way back home for Thanksgiving weekend in Penn Station on 34th street, between 6th and 7th avenue, in New York City. I had to make a stop in NYC since the bus only stops in the city, and not in New Jersey.. but I didn't mind it at all... Things like this, seeing and hearing a performer underground in the station, while looking around and seeing everyone go in any direction possible.. the life of it... it's a whole lot more I can say than about Baltimore's hollowedness...

Watch and listen...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Kind of.... two pictures of campus tonight...

Cold November day... Winter's coming

Wow I've neglected this blogger for such a while (about 3 weeks)... My bad, what can I say.. it was a crazy November.. Now that the events of the 21st birthday, the Josh Kelley concert mania, and Thanksgiving weekend have come and gone, I think things will be getting a lot calmer..

I'm back in Baltimore (got in 2 hours ago) after another great weekend back in Jersey... Still settling in (putting off) work before I buckle down and realized how screwed I am.. but I gotta say, usually I hear people shouting outside, tires screeching, or other stuff, but it's really quiet outside... it's a nice change, although I know everyone is coming back this evening.. The quiets of a hallowed out city on a nice, but brisk, fall/winter afternoon...

Time to start some work, but expect more to come throughout the week...

There's a special edition Office Space set???? woahhhh

Josh Kelley

Last year we has Rufus Wainwright come to Hopkins to play a concert... This year we decided to go more towards the brighter music acoustic singer/songwriter music..

On 11/19, Josh Kelley is coming to perform at Hopkins!

He's pretty good, in the ranks of Jason Mraz and Howie Day... and he's known for his single called "Amazing"

Tickets I think are going to be $5-7 per student.. and they will be going on sale by the end of this week.. we'll also be playing his music while selling the tickets..

give it a shot, cause i know many of you like the singer/songwriter genre.. and he's actually pretty popular on the radio.. Here's some more things to listen to:

The entire album "For the Ride Home".. that contains the single "amazing"

His new album: "Almost Honest"

He's also on the Smallville Soundtrack

I also heard he's pretty awesome live.. he's going to have a full band with him, so it's going to be more loud than Rufus Wainwright..

More details to come soon....I gotta call the lighting company now to set up the concert
